About the Role

Lively is looking for an experienced, strategic HRBP to partner with our business teams. Reporting to the VP, People, this role will provide strategic support for people managers and business leadership. This role will create and execute on people strategies and programs that enable Lively to scale. The HRBP will be the go to person for our people management team, providing coaching and guidance to help develop our people.

Responsibilities

  • Work with people managers to identify organizational needs, evaluate options, and develop change initiatives to support Lively’s talent strategy

  • Collaborate with managers on org design, change management, people strategy, retention, and engagement

  • Use people metrics to drive insights and make decisions for developing and retaining talent

  • Collaborate with the VP, People and People Operations Manager to execute cyclical programs including compensation reviews, feedback cycles, performance reviews, management 360s, and development programs

  • Be the first point of contact for employee relations situations (investigations, employee disputes, etc.)

  • Act as coach and confidant to people managers, providing support for their personal and professional growth

  • Drive the continued development of our strategy with our Non-Bank Trustee (NBT) IRS designation

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of People Operations/HR experience with at least 2+ years as an HRBP or equivalent

  • Experience with organizational design and effectiveness, change management, performance management, leadership coaching, learning and development programs, total rewards and compliance

  • Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Demonstrates empathy and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization

  • Data-driven decision-maker

  • Ability to manage priorities among multiple stakeholders and re-prioritize as needed, thrives in a changing environment
