Today marks a very special moment in the expansion of the Lively HSA. Over the past few months, we’ve continued to grow our HSA platform. We have increased partnerships, integrations, and automation for our broker, employer, and individual communities. Today, we take that a step further with Lively HSA Investments.
These recent updates include adding industry-unique features like one-click debit card ordering and activation, contribution flexibility, and easy access reporting for both individuals and employers. Managing your HSA should be seamless, at least we think so. We won’t stop here and will continue to roll out more customer-centric features every few weeks.
As part of this process, we knew we wanted to help our users increase their long-term savings potential. HSA Investments were the obvious next step. We wanted to keep costs low and transparent. We also wanted to make it simple for our users while offering robust and flexible investment options.
It was these requirements that led us to add HSA investment capabilities through a TD Ameritrade integration. Lively Investments provide easy online investing capability with no pre-selected investment menu. This includes individual stocks, bonds, CDs, over 100 commission-free ETFs, and more than 13,000 mutual funds. You can invest in what you want.
Unlike other HSA providers, users can invest from day 1 (with no minimum required). Our Lively HSA Investments includes all of the features users would expect. Whether its an intuitive online dashboard, detailed investment performance, or automated transfers & withdraws, we’ve got you covered. No calls required.
Lively raises $4.2 million
In addition, we raised $4.2 million in funding from top institutional and angel investors to expand our team, deepen our technology offering and continue automating with existing payroll, BenAdmin, and HRIS platforms. Investors in this round include Streamlined Ventures, Transmedia Capital, Y Combinator, SV Angel, PJC, The Durant Company (Kevin Durant & Rich Kleiman), Liquid 2 Ventures (Joe Montana), Haystack Partners, Paul Buchheit (creator of Gmail), Isaac Oates (Founder & CEO of Justworks), Frederic Kerrest (Co-founder of Okta), and Jeff Epstein (former CFO of Oracle), among others.
We’re excited to continue expanding our mission to help consumers optimize their spending, maximize their savings, and better their livelihood. Our goal is to facilitate how individuals optimally save for and spend money for their health expenses from their HSA account. Lively will deliver expert analysis to our users (both employers and individuals) to keep up with trends, regulations and best practices across healthcare and personal finance. Our value is as much in the products we sell as the help we can give.
