About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Strategy & Monetization to drive Lively’s vision and mission by managing, overseeing, and advancing the company's revenue goals. You will be responsible for driving Lively’s revenue forward through the development of a revenue roadmap and execution of strategic projects, that span across the organization. You will identify areas of opportunity, build business cases for revenue growth, and execute on approved projects. Your scope will span across the entire organization from CX and Product to Sales & Finance.

The ideal candidate will have had proven experience influencing cross-functional teams and have managed special projects to successful completion. You are a problem solver, and creatively complete complex assignments. You should be dedicated to meeting expectations and requirements; by getting first-hand information and using it to identify and propose improvements to systems, processes, and services. You believe that communication is key and are someone who actively engages and works with teams to discuss and plan through all possibilities. You are a great listener, persistently work through details, and have the ability to drive impact. When faced with a challenging opportunity, you know who to connect with and when. People know you as a true collaborator who is direct, truthful, and trustworthy. Your efforts will directly lead to higher market share, more users, greater revenue, and better margins.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance to development and maintain Lively’s revenue models

  • Explore new revenue opportunities and develop business cases for pursuit

  • Lead strategic initiatives that drive revenue by partnering with various Executive team members and broader leadership

  • Develop revenue reporting that measure our current revenue and the impact of strategic initiatives

  • Actively participate in strategic planning for the organization bringing thoughtful and vetted ideas to the table

  • Manage relationships with depository institutions and other retail investment partners

  • Drive the continued development of our strategy with our Non-Bank Trustee (NBT) IRS designation

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years leading special projects/initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or MBA preferred

  • Hands on experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives

  • Knowledge of the HSA, FSA, and other employee benefit products

  • Outstanding analytical skills and comfortable with: return on investment analyses, identification and measurement of program critical metrics, and technical aspects of systems and processes

  • Experience in interacting with, presenting to, and influencing all levels of leadership

  • Excellent presentation, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to facilitate collaboratively in cross-functional decision-making environments

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to effectively influence key decision makers

  • A good sense of humor and a down-to-earth personality. We work hard, have fun, and treat people with respect.
