About the Role

Lively is looking for a Legal Operations Associate to join our collaborative and impactful Legal and Compliance team. In this role, you will support the organization by maintaining and updating our contract management system, supporting the contract review process end to end, organizing and maintaining internal tools and more. You will work with nearly every team at Lively, including Information Security, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Product, and of course Legal and Compliance. Along the way, you will develop the varied skills of a pragmatic in-house legal ops professional.

In this role, you will support the Legal team with cross-functional procurement related projects. You will support a range of activities to enable programs and work with partners across the organization. You will help to ensure that our templates are easy to use and optimized to achieve the best outcomes for Lively, our customers, and our partners.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Maintain and update Lively’s contract management system (Juro) and manage all contract records to increase organization, efficiency, and record keeping

  • Build cross-functional relationships with other stakeholders within the company to support internal requests

  • Develop working knowledge of internal databases and systems in order to extract insights from data in making business and risk decisions.

  • As necessary, review, prepare, and manage vendor agreements within established guidelines

  • Lead and support the continuous maintenance and improvement of forms, processes, and systems

  • Conduct research to facilitate development of subject-matter expertise in areas relevant to the legal team’s work.

  • Influence the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Look after internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Assist with signature management on contracts and agreements

  • Contribute to the culture of Lively and support Lively’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts

  • Assist with litigation matters by responding to requests, pulling data, and working with outside counsel

  • Support legal team in administrative tasks, including insurance record maintenance, document management, and diligence

  • Support ad-hoc and special projects
