About the Role

As a Strategic Project Manager at Lively, you will be critical to the success of the many strategic initiatives we have planned as we continue to grow. In this role you will work with different stakeholders across the organization to ensure these initiatives are executed well and on time. You will have the opportunity to help shape what Project Management looks like at Lively now and in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and transition planning of strategic projects and smaller initiatives.

  • Lead multiple projects and initiatives in parallel and serve as the primary point of contact for each.

  • Collaborate with and delegate to internal and external stakeholders, this could include contractors, partners, and/or vendors.

  • Responsible for setting project timelines, obtaining stakeholder consensus, and managing project progress to those agreed upon timelines.

  • Facilitate meetings and other touch points with stakeholders for the project(s) they are leading, this includes setting agendas, taking notes, and defining next steps.

  • Identify any critical blockers to project delivery and collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Manager, Strategic Projects to find a resolution and adjust where needed.

  • Determine the right course of action when presented with multiple options or opinions from stakeholders.

  • Host retrospectives on projects, where applicable.

  • Manages a project budget, where applicable.

  • Leverage existing project management tools and processes while collaborating with the Strategic Projects Team to enhance them.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of direct project management experience, owning the overall project and milestones with internal and external parties.

  • An absolute stickler for details and organization.

  • Strong decision making skills.

  • Strong ability to take complex problems and break them down into manageable pieces.

  • Team player mentality.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced, growth environment.

  • Start-up experience and a PMP certification a plus!
