About the Role
The Website Manager is responsible for maintaining and constantly improving all organizational web properties, ensuring our website is best-in-class and converting new and returning audiences. This role will work cross-functionally with Growth, Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and Brand Managers to plan, launch, and enhance the site experience for the assigned area of the business.
The Website Manager will supervise our developers and serve as the manager or point of contact for any contract developers and vendors. You will consult and collaborate frequently with our data team, design team, marketing project managers, and content writers.
Managing the (re)design, launch, and ongoing management of Lively websites (livelyme.com). As well as other web properties to engage, attract, and convert visitors.
Serving as the liaison between web development and other marketing staff.
Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on website performance.
Managing all marketing developers, both staff and contractors.
Managing web development priorities for the organization, prioritizing web requests as they come in.
Building a roadmap for website development, working in collaboration with marketing stakeholders and developers.
Managing site content updates for internal stakeholders while ensuring consistent approach to design, UI/UX, SEO, and information architecture, as well as consistent training for other content owners and creators.
Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with the website and implement changes to improve UI/UX and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Building systems to improve content quality and freshness, user experience, and key metrics like conversion rates and pageviews.
Managing large web development projects, gathering input from stakeholders, documenting project requirements, setting timelines and milestones, and communicating with design and development staff to execute projects on schedule.
Managing a consistent flow of A/B tests designed to optimize our website for conversions, interaction, time on page.
Maintaining and evaluating our toolset, including testing software, CSMs, etc.
Identifying any bugs, outdated information, or other updates needed and troubleshooting with colleagues.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in website management, optimization and development.
Experience managing a brand's website (B2B & B2C), and improving core site metrics to meet organizational goals.
Experience as a manager, overseeing the work of at least two developers and designers, building web projects from scratch.
Expert knowledge of Content Management Systems (Contentful) and other headless CMS’s, testing platforms, and W3C web standards is highly preferred.
Expertise in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools.
Experience with SEO strategies and optimizations.
Excellent user experience and data analysis skills.
Experience leading A/B testing programs for web or other channels.
Experience managing budgets, contractors, and vendors.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with previous experience successfully collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills; ability to meet goals within a complex and sophisticated landscape.
Work well cross-functionally and effectively in a tight-knit, team environment.
Demonstrates high competency and capacity for working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
