Light therapy for the treatment of a medical condition is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Light therapy is not eligible with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA). To qualify for reimbursement, light therapy must be used to treat a medical condition, such as eczema, psoriasis, or vitiligo.
