Stem Cell Storage

Stem cell storage for a specific and iminent medical condition may be eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement arrangement (HRA), and only eligible for the period of time necessary to treat an existing or imminent disease. Stem cell storage is not eligible for reimbursement with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
